About Counseling That Works
The counselors at Counseling That Works have been counseling professionally for over 20 years. They are highly trained in the Scientology technology of auditing which is a very unique form of personal counseling that helps an individual look at his own existence and improves his ability to confront what he is and where he is.
There are vast differences between the technology of auditing and other forms of counseling. There is no use of hypnosis, trance techniques or drugs during auditing. The person is completely aware of everything that happens. Auditing is a precise, thoroughly codified activity with exact procedures developed by L. Ron Hubbard. Auditing uses processes — exact sets of questions or directions to help a person find out things about himself and improve his condition. By doing this, any person is able to free himself of unwanted barriers that inhibit, stop or blunt his natural abilities and increase these abilities so that he becomes brighter and more able.
A person trained and qualified in applying auditing to individuals for their betterment is called an auditor. Auditor is defined as one who listens.
The auditors at Counseling That Works are trained to the level of Scientology Class V Graduate Auditor (at this level, one is trained on advanced auditing skills). They are licensed by I-HELP (International Hubbard Ecclesiastical League of Pastors/Field Auditors). They continue their training on a constant basis to improve and expand their auditing techniques.
Counseling is done at our offices in Montrose, CA (area of Glendale). Arrangements can also be made for an auditor to come to an individual's location for the counseling.
